Monarch has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Boca Raton Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Thursday, Monarch didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Spartans, but they still walked away with a 60-56 win. The victory was just what Monarch needed coming off of a 83-53 defeat in their prior match.
Cody Dinnall was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jerome Blangor, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
In what's become a running theme this season, Boca Raton gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They blew past Boynton Beach, posting a 65-37 win on the road.
Monarch's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10. As for Boca Raton, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
