 Lamar now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Alamosa, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
 Everything went Alamosa's way against Lamar in their previous matchup  back in March of 2018, as Alamosa made off with  a  9-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Alamosa since the  squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
