Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Daniel Schoen, who scored 15 points along with 3 steals. Schoen scored a full 26.8% of West Phoenix's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Amir Gipson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 4 steals.
ASU Prep's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for West Phoenix, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. ASU Prep will take on Imagine Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Phoenix, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Skyline Prep at 4:30 p.m.
