The Richmond Hill Wildcats had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Lowndes on Friday as Richmond Hill made off with a 37-14 win. Considering Richmond Hill has won three games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Richmond Hill was led to victory by Joshua Ulrich-troupe and Nick Bliss. Ulrich-troupe rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, while Bliss rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Bliss really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run. Aiden Grant got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Richmond Hill now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lowndes, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 4-5.
Richmond Hill will face off against Colquitt County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Colquitt County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 411 points over their last nine contests. As for Lowndes, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Camden County at 8:00 p.m.
