The Granger Lancers suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were outmatched by West Jordan on the road and fell 65-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Granger has scored all season.
Granger's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jayden Silas, who scored five points along with five rebounds, and Isaiah Gukeisen who scored seven points along with two steals.
Granger struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
West Jordan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Colton Blackham out in front who scored 14 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinton Robinson, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Granger are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11. As for West Jordan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-10.
Granger will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cyprus at 7:00 p.m. Cyprus is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for West Jordan, they will head out on the road to challenge Kearns at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Kearns focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Tuesday.
