There's no place like home for Concord, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans on Tuesday as they made off with  an  11-5 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  7-3  back in March.

 Mason Porter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched four innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   six  hits. Porter was even better at the plate,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs and one  stolen base. Concord is undefeated when  Porter posts two or  more  runs, but 4-15 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Greyson Daniels, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in March.
 Concord was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .433. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Concord's win  ended  a  six-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-15. As for Northwest Cabarrus, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost 13 of their last 15 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concord will challenge Central Cabarrus at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Northwest Cabarrus, they will face off against Mount Pleasant at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
