Lecanto came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Springstead, but J'Ziyah Munford wouldn't allow it. The Springstead Eagles came out on top against the Lecanto Panthers by a score of 7-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Munford, who threw for 115 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 66 yards. What's more, she racked up 84.7 passer rating, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.

The win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.5 points on average over those games. As for Lecanto, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springstead will face off against Hernando at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Springstead's defense has only allowed 1.5 points per game this season, so Hernando's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lecanto, they will square off against Citrus at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Citrus will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lecanto surely won't give up without a fight.
