The Maclay Marauders will head out on the road to face off against the Wewahitchka Gators at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Maclay earned a 50-42 win over Wakulla. The win made it back-to-back wins for Maclay.
Maclay relied on the efforts of Journey Kramer, who scored 16 points, and Lauren Guyer, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Molly McDonald, who scored 5 points.
Even though Wewahitchka has not done well against Altha recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way last Tuesday. Wewahitchka took down Altha 38-24.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Maclay's victory pushed their record up to 2-0, while Wakulla's defeat dropped theirs down to 0-2.
