Notre Dame is 3-0 against the Yellowjackets since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Notre Dame Titans will be playing at home against the Colton Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Notre Dame can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They breezed by Arroyo Valley at home to the tune of 70-24. The win was familiar territory for Notre Dame who now have three in a row.
Notre Dame found their leader in underclassman Mark Cadena, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 21 rebounds. Cadena is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 13 games he's played. Yirmeyah Michel was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven assists and three steals.
Even though Colton has not done well against the Spartans recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Colton managed a 67-61 victory over the Spartans. The victory was just what Colton needed coming off of a 76-54 loss in their prior matchup.
Notre Dame has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Colton, their win bumped their record up to 11-13.
Notre Dame skirted past the Yellowjackets 72-69 in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Will Notre Dame repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
