Olympic won the last time they faced Kingston and things went their way on Monday too. The Trojans came out on top against the Buccaneers by a score of 5-1. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Brenda Morrison spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Kennedy Haas was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Beya Richmond was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
Haas wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Olympic lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Olympic's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2.
