Elk Grove lost against Franklin back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The Thundering Herd took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats.

 Franklin found their leader in sophomore  Noelani Ramirez, who  had eight  digs and six  aces. Ramirez is also on a roll when it comes to  hitting percentage, as she's  posted one of at least 50% in the last 13 games she's  played.  Maleia Iapinig also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  ace of the season.
Elk Grove's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Franklin, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record  this season.
 Elk Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin, they will face off against Pitman at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
