It was a good run, but the Franklin Warriors unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to Eastside 63-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Eastside got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyrone Washam out in front who scored nine points along with six assists and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jahaan Green, who scored 18 points.
Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Eastside, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will take on Robbinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eastside, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Bishop Eustace Prep at 6:15 p.m. on January 30th.
