Santana has gone a perfect 4-0 against Olympian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Sultans will venture away from home to take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Santana is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Santana got the win against El Capitan by a conclusive 9-3. The Sultans have beaten the Vaqueros the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Vaqueros has come to flipping the script.

Ashlyn Darrow was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, Paityn Miller was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run and two runs. Gabby Sneddon also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Santana lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Olympian). They put the hurt on Hilltop with a sharp 14-4 win on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the game before.
Olympian also got a great performance from Alexandra Perez as she pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Perez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Zoe Felix was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. NiKayla Flowers was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Santana's record now sits at 7-9-1. As for Olympian, their record is now 6-8-2.
Santana came out on top in a nail-biter against Olympian in their previous meeting back in March of 2022, sneaking past 8-6. Do the Sultans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
