In what's become a running theme this season, the Douglas Bearcats gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Saturday. They breezed by Torrington at home  to the tune of  62-23. Given Douglas' advantage  in MaxPreps' Wyoming basketball rankings  (they are ranked seventh, while Torrington is ranked 52nd), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 When it comes to explaining why Torrington lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Mac Hibben. Despite the final result, he  scored eight points along with five  rebounds. That was a full 34.8% of Torrington's points, marking the third time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points.
 The  victory  makes it two in a row for Douglas and  bumps their season record up to 8-3. As for Torrington, they are  on a three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-10.
 Douglas and Wheatland will face off  at 7:30  p.m.  on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
