It was a good run, but the Freeman Flyers unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sanborn Central/Woonsocket. Freeman lost against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket in their previous head to head back in January of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 55-17 score last time.

Freeman struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Freeman's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Sanborn Central/Woonsocket, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.
