Grayslake Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Woodstock North Thunder with a sharp 10-2 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Grayslake Central's victory bumped their record up to 26-9. As for Woodstock North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-17 record this season.
