Dylan Greene and Cy Ryding provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Carver. The connection was good for 61 yards, the longest such play in Eastern this season.
Somerset moved up to 55 from 107 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Raiders climbed the ranks as a result of a 49-6 win over Tri-County RVT.
Alec Tattersall and Doug Andrade gave Martha's Vineyard Regional a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Tattersall threw for 108 yards and four touchdowns, while Andrade ran for 175 yards. Teammate Brandon Watkins added to the ground attack by rushing for 129 yards.
Ryding was the best wideout in the league this week as Coyle-Cassidy defeated the Crusaders. Ryding racked up one reception for 61 yards. Joshua Cobb helped Coyle-Cassidy's passing attack out by catching one ball for 11 yards.
The Vineyarders' Tattersall and Watkins have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Eastern in both passing and receiving yards. Tattersall has thrown for 332 yards this season, while Watkins, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has eight catches for 122 yards. The Warriors' Cobb leads the league in rushing yards with 296.
Somerset took down the Cougars 49-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
