Swansboro extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 3-0. They skirted past the White Oak Vikings 67-64. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pirates have posted against the Vikings since February 17, 2023.

Swansboro's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tyon Spain, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Connor May was another key player, shooting 44% from the field en route to 16 points and six boards.

As for White Oak, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1. They have struggled against Swansboro recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, White Oak still got an impressive performance from Zarion Hobbs, who almost dropped a double-double with 26 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Mattocks, who posted ten points and six boards.

Swansboro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 78-67 victory against Southwest Onslow on the 3rd. As for White Oak, they have also already played their next matchup, a 70-57 win against Richlands on the 2nd.
