It was a good run, but The Starpoint Spartans unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 30-15 bruising from Lockport. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Starpoint in their matchups with Lockport: they've now lost three in a row.
Lockport's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Shey Williams, who picked up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown. Jahkwon Davis got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Starpoint's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Lockport, their victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-3.
Starpoint does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lockport will face off against Clarence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (Clarence is ranked 55th, while Lockport is ranked 78th).
