When it comes to explaining why Rocky Bayou Christian lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Devin Hicks. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with two steals. Noah Lynch was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.
Pensacola Catholic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Terius Mason out in front who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Derion Gould, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Rocky Bayou Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for Pensacola Catholic, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-18.

As for Pensacola Catholic, they will stay at home for another game and welcome West Florida at 8:00 p.m. on January 30th. Hopefully West Florida focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Saturday.
