The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Clarksville in their matchups with North Harrison: they've now lost eight in a row.
Clarksville got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Emma Money and
Jayonna Shirley, who each put up five points. Shirley also led the team in rebounds with seven.
Julia Perissi took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with four assists.
Clarksville's defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-10. As for North Harrison, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarksville will finish 2023 at home by hosting Perry Central at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Perry Central is ranked 308th, while Clarksville is ranked 326th). North Harrison will finish 2023 at home by hosting Floyd Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
