The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. On Friday Lockwood/Golden City will take on Diamond at 7:00 PM. Lockwood/Golden City will be strutting in after a victory while Diamond will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Lockwood/Golden City put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season the last time the two teams met. They made easy work of Diamond and carried off a 36-8 win. Lockwood/Golden City were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Diamond found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 8-36 punch to the gut against Lockwood/Golden City. This makes it the second loss in a row for Diamond.
Everything went Lockwood/Golden City's way against Diamond as they made off with a 36-8 win. Will Lockwood/Golden City repeat their success, or does Diamond have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
