Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Rootstown walked away with it. They breezed past the Brookfield Warriors to the tune of 68-26 on Tuesday. The Rovers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Rootstown got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bailey Kidd out in front who posted five points. Another player making a difference was Paisley Day, who earned three points and four steals.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Rootstown, bringing their record up to 20-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points on average over those games. As for Brookfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-15.

Rootstown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-38 loss against Smithville on the 28th. Brookfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
