Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mamou). Everything went their way against the Northwest Raiders on Thursday as they made off with a 20-1 win. The Demons haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Kaityn Fontenot made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Jaidan Richard was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Sarah Lacoste was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
Mamou always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .833. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
