Nick Wendt turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than one earned runs surrendered on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. He was up against Lincoln High and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in April of 2024. Crete is undefeated when Wendt allows one or fewer hits, but 3-4 otherwise.
