Tarbut V' Torah gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Magnolia Science Academy Pirates. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Tarbut V' Torah was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-16, 22-25, 25-16, 15-12.

Having lost for the first time this season, Magnolia Science Academy fell to 2-1.

Coming up, Tarbut V' Torah is taking a road trip to face off against Eastside Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Magnolia Science Academy, they will face off against Vista Meridian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Magnolia Science Academy has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
