Julian Crum in the first quarter, the Mustangs led 21-0 at the half.
St. Rita expanded its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. SR scored two times in the third, including once on a
Tim Lombard touchdown run.
The Chicago school's most effective player was Kelley. The senior quarterback threw three touchdowns.
The Fightin' Irish's lone touchdown came on a run in the fourth quarter.
Bishop McNamara came in allowing just 14.2 points per game this season. BM struggled against the Mustangs' offense, which entered the game scoring 29.7 points per game. St. Rita came into the game allowing 17.7 points per game.
When the two teams played each other last season, SR came away with a 28-24 victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Bishop McNamara, which notched a 37-6 victory over St. Laurence in its previous outing. The loss snapped the Kankakee school's 2-game winning streak.
St. Rita (4-3) will play a Chicago Catholic - Blue game against Mount Carmel next week, while Bishop McNamara (4-3) will take on Leo in a non-conference game.
