Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Texas Lions HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chrystine Martinez, who scored 24 points. Martinez continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Baylor Amthor, who scored 22 points.
Texas Lions HomeSchool has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for New Way Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6.
Texas Lions HomeSchool and Heritage Christian Athletics will face off at 2:30 p.m. on January 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Heritage Christian Athletics will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1342nd, while Texas Lions HomeSchool is ranked 293rd). New Way Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Austin Royals HomeSchool at 8:00 a.m. on January 13th.
