Caldwell might have lost, but man, Jackson Risley was a machine: he dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. That was a full 48.6% of Caldwell's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mak Blosser, who scored eight points.
Central typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday South Haven proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 49-43 win over the Raiders. That's two games straight that South Haven has won by exactly six points.
Caldwell has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for South Haven, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.
