Rusk came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Palestine Wildcats as they made off with a 15-0 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Rusk pushed their record up to 13-7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Palestine, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Rusk beat Palestine by a score of 13-0 on Friday.
