Having just played yesterday, the Cholla Chargers will get right back to it and host the Pueblo Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Cholla has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 68-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Catalina Foothills on Wednesday. Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Pueblo ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 58-49 victory over Canyon del Oro. The victory was just what Pueblo needed coming off of a 63-40 defeat in their prior match.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pueblo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aiden Cruz, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Jacob Maya was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine assists and four steals.
