Ozark won the last time they faced Helias and things went their way on Friday too. Ozark came out on top in a nail-biter against Helias, sneaking past 8-6. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly two runs.

Ozark got a great performance from Luke Baer as he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Keaton Hurst and Brody Julian did most of the damage at the plate: Hurst scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Julian went 2-for-3 with two triples and two runs. Hurst also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Gannon Miller was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI and one double.

Ozark kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Ozark now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Helias, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Ozark will take on West Plains at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Helias, they will square off against Battle at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
