Potomac Senior won against Woodbridge last Friday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Potomac Senior Panthers walked away with a 56-45 victory over the Washington-Liberty Generals. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers who have now won four games in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Potomac Senior to victory, but perhaps none more so than Yusef Navins, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 12 points. Navins is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Amani Asari was another key player, putting up 11 points along with six assists and four steals.

Potomac Senior's record is now 6-2. As for Washington-Liberty, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Potomac Senior won't have much time to rest: their next match is against South County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Washington-Liberty, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Langley at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Washington-Liberty is facing Langley at the right time seeing as Langley is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
