On Friday, The Meade Buffaloes got themselves on the board against the Elkhart Wildcats, but the Elkhart Wildcats never followed suit. They blew past the Wildcats, posting a 52-0 win on the road. The result was nothing new for Meade, who have now won six matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Brock Keith got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 209 yards and five touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also caught a touchdown. Keith was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards. Bradon Bird did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 80 receiving yards.
The victory makes it two in a row for Meade and bumps their season record up to 7-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 49 points. As for Elkhart, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Meade will be playing in front of their home fans against Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Skyline is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Elkhart does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
