The Bonham Warriors typically have all the answers at home, but on Saturday the Commerce Tigers proved too difficult a challenge. They enjoyed a cozy 68-51 win over the Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Commerce also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2016.
Bonham's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jagger Lindsey, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Heath Brown, who scored 12 points.
Commerce's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Bonham, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Commerce is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Van Alstyne at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Van Alstyne is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Bonham, they will head out on the road to face off against Lone Oak at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
