While Jersey Village's win against Cypress Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Jersey Village Falcons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Cypress Ridge Rams on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since March 5, 2024.

Jersey Village let Camdyn Brown and Jordyn Battise run wild. Brown scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Battise scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'Niya Whiting, who scored a run and stole a base.

Jersey Village's record now sits at 6-12. As for Cypress Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Jersey Village and Cypress Ridge could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Jersey Village (ranked 622nd) will meet Memorial (ranked 63rd) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jersey Village has given up an average of 8.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
