Softball Recap: Choctaw Extends Winning Streak to Three

Choctaw had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Norman North Timberwolves with a sharp 10-3 win. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.

Choctaw's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Norman North, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, Choctaw will welcome Westmoore at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norman North, they will venture away from home to face off against Edmond Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Timberwolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
