JACOBY CZAPEK posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out four batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, CZAPEK and East Kentwood will challenge Rockford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. CZAPEK had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game back in April of 2024 18-0.
