After two games on the road, Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech is heading back home. They will take on the West Philadelphia Speedboys at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech got the win against Pottstown by a conclusive 68-45.
Zachary Campbell was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech's points. Another player making a difference was Saleem Hudson, who scored 10 points.
Meanwhile, West Philadelphia had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were the victim of a rough 79-55 loss at the hands of Jackson-Reed on Saturday.
Their wins bumped Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech to 2-0 and Pottstown to 2-1.
