2A Tri-River recap Nov. 7, 2012
Kennedy extended the longest winning streak in 2A Tri-River this week by beating Central Linn, 14-7. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Trojans.
Waldport took down Culver 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. TJ Fisher threw for 548 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 80 yards in the win.
The Irish's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Matthew Clark chipped in 175 yards. Shane Mcnees helped Waldport's passing attack out by catching three balls for 84 yards.
Kraig Pruett was the best wideout in the league this week as Waldport beat the Bulldogs. Pruett racked up 18 receptions for 456 yards.
Waldport's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Irish feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Fisher has thrown for 2320 yards and 17 touchdowns this season, while Pruett has 87 catches for 1550 yards. Clark leads the league in rushing with 851 yards.
Kennedy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,901 from 8,623. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 14-7 victory over the Cobras last week.
