In what's become a running theme this season, the Bronson Vikings gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Reading 51-13 at home. The win was familiar territory for Bronson who now have three in a row.
Bronson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ava Hathaway led the charge by scoring 12 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Aubree Calloway, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Reading struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Bronson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Reading, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Bronson will be playing at home against Colon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bronson is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.9 points per game this season. As for Reading, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pittsford at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Pittsford is coming into the match with four straight wins at home, so Reading is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
