Payne Tech entered their tilt with Golda Och Academy on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They never let Golda Och Academy get on the board and left with an 18-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Payne Tech's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Golda Och Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
