Meanwhile, Leggett's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. Their rough 54-31 defeat to Chester might stick with them for a while. Leggett has struggled against Chester recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Spurger pushed their record up to 4-7 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Leggett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.
Spurger strolled past Leggett in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 51-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Spurger since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
