Even though the Summerfield Waldorf Mustangs have not done well against the Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. Summerfield Waldorf enjoyed a cozy  56-40 victory over Rio Lindo Adventist. The  victory was nothing new for Summerfield Waldorf as they're now sitting on three straight.
 Despite the loss, Rio Lindo Adventist still got an impressive performance from   Hunter McNunn, who  scored 18 points along with four  steals. That's the first time this season that  McNunn  scored 15 or more  points.  Jordan Campbell was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points.
 Summerfield Waldorf's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 4-6.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summerfield Waldorf will take on Pacific Union College Prep at 8:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Pacific Union College Prep is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, they will be playing at home against Mendocino at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Mendocino is coming into the  contest on a four-game losing streak.
