Field entered their tilt with Springfield on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Spartans a 12-0 shutout. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Field pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
