Clovis had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Los Alamos on Saturday. Clovis' pitchers stepped up to hand Los Alamos an 11-0 shutout. That 11 run margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Clovis has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. Los Alamos' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-4.

Clovis didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Portales on the 25th. As for Los Alamos, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-1 victory against Santa Fe on the 26th.
