STATON KRANENDONK tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.
At the plate, CUTTER CHRISTENSEN was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of BRECKEN PARK, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Crimson Cliffs' victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Desert Hills, their win bumped their record up to 23-4.
Monday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Desert Hills has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .506. However, it's not like Crimson Cliffs struggles in that department as they've averaged .451. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
