Dakota Munden and Taryn Schlim certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Munden scored six points, while Schlim scored three points along with six rebounds and five steals. Schlim also posted two blocks for the first time this season.
Hayden's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-7. As for Little Snake River, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hayden will take on North Park at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Park is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Little Snake River won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Farson-Eden at 4:30 p.m. on January 12th. Farson-Eden is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
