Holston had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They captured a comfortable 25-8 win over Eastern Montgomery.
Meanwhile, Twin Springs couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 30-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northwood.
Holston's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Twin Springs's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Holston can add another positive mark to their record or if Twin Springs can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Holston's step.
