It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Woodbridge Raiders can now relate to. They were dealt a 56-28 defeat at the hands of the Auks on Saturday. Woodbridge's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Miles Kempski had a dynamite game for Archmere Academy, rushing for 157 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 171 yards and two touchdowns. Drew Duncan was in the mix as well, providing Archmere Academy with two touchdowns.
Woodbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Archmere Academy, they have yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 9-3 record.
Woodbridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Archmere Academy will head out on the road to face off against Caravel at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Caravel is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
